Terra Relicta - Dark Music Web Magazine - 29/11/2024
"I don't usually write reviews of instrumental electronic music, but Polish trio Tachion-X has something special that can't be overlooked - or rather - overheard.[...] Tachion-X has created an intriguing and original album that, despite its influences and comparisons to other artists, stands on its own. The creative process is unconventional; there are no vocals, and the roles of the musicians are not rigidly defined. The music is emotionally rich but diverse enough for different occasions. The album 5120 offers a fresh insight into the electro-music scene and is currently one of the most interesting contributions in this genre.

"Ya know, Tachion-X wasn’t everything that I thought he was going to be when I first booted up his album “5120”. I read the normal shit: industrial, synthwave, EBM, etc. and I was expecting a bit of a clone of a lot of other bands in the genre. Darksynth Perturbator wannabes who don’t sound that great and can’t get a decent thing going for themselves without being a shell of something greater. But upon hitting that play button I found myself appreciating the differences between Tachion-X and a lot of similar projects. That primarily being an actual cinematic zone the producer finds himself in, rather than wasted and repetitive dancefloor numbers. [...] Tachion-X nailed his concept, his fusion of industrial and synthwave and all things cyberpunk without ever falling into a pit of being similar to other bands in the arena. And that alone is worth some points. This is a great start that can easily be improved upon and I’m interested in seeing where he goes next.
Art Mundus - 10/12/2024
"The album captivates from the first to the last composition. There isn’t a single unnecessary sound here; everything forms a beautiful, mysterious, and moving whole.[...]This music needs no embellishments; it is complete and enough to immerse yourself in, savor, and experience an incredible journey with it.So, once again, I urge you: open your minds, spark your imagination, and let yourselves be enchanted by this excellent music."
Polish Album / Polish Music - 15/12/2024
"[...]It is hard to find anything like this in the Polish music scene within similar musical genres. Additionally, everything is modern, yet it has a soul and distinctiveness drawn from an individual approach, without following a mainstream direction. [...]Synthetically, sometimes roughly, yet entirely unconventional, with traces of significant messages in certain places. At the same time, it is fantastical, atmospheric, and with a character often missing from electronic music. This is how the album "5120" by the band TACHION-X, strongly asserting its presence, can be summarized[...]".
TACHION-X was founded by experienced musicians who, during their over-twenty-year career, have collaborated with many famous artists and producers,
often sharing the stage with them at the largest European festivals like
Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Poland Rock Festival, M'era Luna Festival,
Brutal Assault, Castle Party Festival and many more.
TACHION-X’s musicians made a project completely different from what they had done.
TACHION-X decided on a different approach towards creating music, i.e. without vocals and fixed roles of musicians.
TACHION-X combines electronic music with heavy industrial sounds and cinematic vibes. When making the album, the musicians mixed analogue synthesizers with acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and even string and wind instruments.
